Xiang Xiang Hunan delivers an enjoyable and satisfying Hunan cuisine experience right in the heart of Mosque Street. The dishes are flavourful and bold, staying true to the signature spicy and aromatic style that Hunan food is known for. Portions are generous, and the food is served hot and fresh, making it a comforting and hearty meal overall. The staff are polite and attentive, and the restaurant maintains a welcoming atmosphere despite the busy location. It’s a great spot for those who enjoy robust flavours and authentic Chinese cooking. With a bit more consistency and refinement, Xiang Xiang Hunan has the potential to become an even stronger standout among the many dining options in the area. Overall, a solid choice that’s definitely worth visiting again

Xiang Xiang is my go-to spot and it never disappoints! The best part about this place is the consistency—the food standard is always top-notch and the service is consistently warm and efficient. You have to try the 青椒皮蛋 (Century Egg with Green Chili); it’s easily my favorite. I also highly recommend the 剁椒鱼头 (Chop Bell Pepper Fish Head) and the Cauliflower—both are packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. I was gutted that the Luffa was sold out during my last visit, but it just gives me another reason to come back soon. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic flavors!
